i will stay here again & recommend to my friend who will visit Hualien.

The host is friendly, helpful & fast respond. The whole place of the homestay is very clean. breakfast was delicious. excellent sunrise view from homestay room. walking distance to Dongmen night market. i will stay here if visit Hualien again.

Excellent location. Close to the night market and the beach walk. Watch the sunrise too.

Though we encountered typhoon, we found very peaceful and relaxed. We enjoy the wave sound so much.

Clean, tidy, organized and beach stylist. Host is helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

Very Good

The owner was friendly and very helpful. The place was very clean and orderly and we liked the location.

We had sandwiches every day for breakfast. I would have enjoyed some fruit for a change.

Warm-hearted host makes you feel like at home

Great location, walkable to the busy area like night market and central street. Convenient to park nearby too if you drive a car. Great view right beside the sea, you get to sleep and wake up with the waves sound, but inevitably with a little noise when motorbikes/cars passing by. The host was super friendly and nice, he instructed everything clearly and even gave a bit of guide in the city, as well as some popular spots for touristing in Hualien. The room is sparkly clean, the breakfast they prepared was local and tasty. It feels like at home, I’d like to come back again for sure.

It was overall good, nothing to be picky about.

Great stay, beautiful location!

We had an amazing stay at White Sand Homestay! The building was incredibly clean and nice, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and it's in a beautiful location right by the ocean. Breakfast was included every morning and we also received new towels and had our trash takena nd bathroom cleaned each day. Our host Jacob was very kind, welcoming, and accommodating! He also provided suggestions for activities. Would definitely go back!

The location and the view was the best. We enjoyed taking pictures of the sunrise on the roof.

There was no personal service. Seemed like nobody besides guests were living there. We had to call for someone to check us in. And text messaged, when we checked out. Breakfast was take-out (sandwich and cold black tea) left in the kitchen to take. We should have stayed at a hotel.

The room was nicely decorated, the bed was pretty comfortable. Electronic door locks were easy to use.

The neighborhood was noisy. Airplanes flying overhead, loud neighbors and street noise, including firecrackers and being woken by a woman singing loudly around 3am. Inside door had a glass panel at the top and light in the hallway was on all night.
